A new website helped The Box Cleaning Co kickstart their marketing efforts.
The Goal
The Box Cleaning Co provide cleaning & ancillary services for house builders. They clean properties after construction is completed and ready for the house developers to market.They also provide ongoing maintenance cleaning for developments.
Box had an existing website which was unloved. They wanted to start advertising their business to grow it but with a poor website, they were getting a high bounce rate and not seeing the return on investment they needed to make their marketing campaign a success.
Challenges
Their branding guidelines had a very limited colour palette with a neutral font so our challenge was how to bring this website to life to make it look modern and inviting.
Box wanted to be able to update projects easily themselves so we needed to work this into the project.
Solution
We designed the website predominantly using white and used blue and orange from their branding guidelines to give a very clean, modern look and feel to the website.
We produced mockups for each page and presented these to Box for their approval.
We produced some custom icons in a blue accent colour to make the pages more visually appealing.
We designed a map showing their area of operations.
Development
Next, we worked on the development of the website. We built the website with WordPress using best-in-class plugins and implemented all agreed functionality.
We set up a template for projects and set up the backend so that Box could add projects themselves.
We ensured that the website looked good on mobile, tablet, laptop and desktop and tested the website across a variety of different browsers.
Finally, we set up SEO for each page and optimised the backend for speed before the website went live.
