Plans run monthly on a rolling basis with one month’s notice.
Most updates run smoothly and are fully covered by your care plan.
If an update creates a bigger conflict (e.g. plugin that’s no longer supported or a theme that needs redevelopment), we’ll let you know what’s involved before we fix anything. Small fixes are included; larger repairs are quoted separately.
Shopify handles your hosting as part of your Shopify subscription. Our plans cover everything else: app management, theme updates, development time, and proactive conversion input.
Unlike WordPress, Shopify theme updates don’t apply automatically, and they can overwrite customisations if handled carelessly. We always test updates on a duplicate theme before applying anything to your live store.
Each month we review your store and flag one specific thing we’d change to improve performance- it could be a product page layout, a collection structure, a checkout friction point, or a merchandising decision.
